ABOUT US

“Buutu” is the Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, the totem of the Bakose clan of Busoga. Our ancestors believed the first forefather was a Buutu. As descendants, we are bound to respect and protect this sacred bird. The name of our guesthouse is a tribute to that heritage and our connection to land, family, and tradition.
